creating the future.

The term "entrepreneur" originates from the French word "Entrepreneur," which originally referred to traders. Many adventurers and entrepreneurs aimed for the riches of the East and Japan, leading to great voyages that eventually resulted in the discovery of new continents and changed the course of world history. In entrepreneurship, things rarely go as planned, but the adventures sparked by an entrepreneur's courage shape the times. We aim to be the compass for these journeys, supporting entrepreneurs with our collective experience and wisdom.
Biography
Driven by the ambition to create Japan's first early-stage, hands-on venture capital firm, I founded Globis Capital Partners.
After witnessing entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley during the dawn of the internet leading significant societal changes and innovations, I returned to Japan. At that time, both entrepreneurs and venture capitalists were minorities and outsiders in society. Initially, we were isolated and unsupported, but we gradually built connections and helped shape the creation of transformative entrepreneurs and the venture capital industry.
Despite numerous challenges, such as the bursting of the dot-com bubble and the Lehman Brothers' collapse, the development of the startup ecosystem has provided a foundation for systematic entrepreneurship and innovation in Japan. I believe that further fostering this development is my true calling.
